About VaultMyStack
vaultmystack.com
VaultMyStack is a focused resource for people who own — or are thinking about owning — physical gold and silver. We pair live market prices with plain-English education and practical, privacy-first tools.
What we offer
Three things, kept deliberately simple:
- Live prices. Current gold, silver, and Bitcoin spot prices, pulled fresh when you open the page.
- Education. Clear guides such as our comparison of physical gold vs. ETFs, futures, and mining stocks, written to help you decide how to structure exposure — not to sell you anything.
- Vault Report. A tool to catalog your physical holdings, value them at live spot, and generate a professional, print-ready report you can file away and revisit months or years later to see how your position has changed.
Our approach
VaultMyStack stays in the calculation and documentation layer only. We do not take custody of metal, move money, execute trades, or transfer value. Vault Report runs in your browser and keeps your inventory on your own device — it is built to respect your privacy first.
How your data is stored
You choose where your Vault Report data lives:
1. Browser-only (no account). Everything stays on your device. When you use Vault Report at vaultmystack.com without signing in, your inventory is saved in your browser's local storage only — we never see your holdings, your name, or any personal details, and nothing is uploaded. It's the most private option. The trade-off: it's tied to that browser on that device, with no automatic backup, so use Backup / Export (JSON, CSV, PDF) to keep your own copies. Clearing your browser data or switching devices or browsers will lose it.
2. Cloud sync (optional account). If you create an account at vault.vaultmystack.com, your email address and the vault data you choose to save are stored by our service providers — Supabase (the database), Resend (email sign-in codes), and Cloudflare (hosting) — so your vault syncs across devices and is backed up automatically. Access is protected by security rules tied to your login, so no other user can read your vault, and we don't sell, share, or mine it — it exists only to provide the sync. Sign-in uses a one-time code emailed to you; no password is stored, and only your email address is required to start syncing. You can delete your account and all its data at any time.
Either way it's your call, and the core tools stay free. Prefer maximum privacy? Stick with the browser version. Want it on all your devices? Create an account. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Where we're headed
Vault Report is currently an early beta. Planned additions include optional accounts with cloud-synced vaults, historical valuations by date, and support for additional metals. Our aim is to keep the free tier genuinely useful while adding depth for people who rely on the documentation.
